Willy Kambwala joins Villarreal for a total fee of €11.5m
United insert two sell-on clauses. He has rejected the club’s offer of a new contract
Young defender Willy Kambwala has decided to leave Manchester United after the player joined Villarreal in a permanent deal.
“Manchester United defender Willy Kambwala has ทางเข้า ufabet https://ufabet999.app agreed to join Villarreal on a permanent basis, bringing an end to his nearly four-year spell at the club,” a club statement said.
The 19-year-old defender, who has made 10 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils, has rejected a new three-year contract offered by the club.
Kambwala’s total fee is €11.5m (£9.6m), with Villarreal paying an initial €5.5m (£4.6m) and the remaining €6m (£5m) in add-ons.
In addition, United have a buy-back clause within three years and have included a share of the fee in any future sales.
